Lone Star Mustangs and Austin Outlaws Battled it Out
  The Lone Star Mustangs made their debut on Saturday April 25th against the
allowed them to defeat the defending national champions, the H-Town Cyclones, the
week before. With the final score of 14-13, the Lone Star Mustangs fell to the
Outlaws, but had some standout performances in the process.

   Brittany "Youngsta" Satterwhite had a great game playing at both wide receiver
and at the half-back positions. Her rushing attempts were elctrifying and never fell
short of 13 yards! The runs after her receptions were even better...the crowd was
standing up every time she touched the football!
Ashley "Q" McCuin had 5 carries and averaged 6.1 yards per carry. Kelsey "Twin 1"
Korywchak had the first rushing touchdown for the Lone Star Mustangs and Rachel
Golston followed with a 23 yard touchdown reception! Jennifer Hull was 7/14 with
158 yards and 1 touchdown.

  Ebony Jones led the defense with 9 tackles with one tackle for loss from the
defensive end position. Alex Harvey (a.k.a. "Animal") had 6 tackles with three of
those being tackles for loss. Deondra Selph and Stuff Spencer had outstanding
games as well with 7 tackles each. Daniela Ottaiano also had 5 tackles in her first
game as a rookie.

  The Lone Star Mustangs, Austin Outlaws, and H-town Cyclones have shown in the
first two games that women's football in Texas is going to be extremely competitive.
The games have been exciting down to the very end. The Mustangs will regroup this
week and prepare for the hard running attack of the H-Town Cyclones who come to
Pennington Field at 1:00 PM Saturday May 2nd. Come check out the most
