Dear Potential Sponsor:
We would like to thank you for taking time to explore the
sponsoring opportunities for the Lone Star Mustangs Women’s
Football Team for our second season. We would be honored to
have your company as an “official” team sponsor of the Lone
Star Mustangs. Our team is a women’s full contact, tackle
football team that plays in the Women's Football Alliance
(WFA).We completed our inaugural 2009 season with a record
of 6 wins and 2 losses. The league has over 40 teams throughout
the U.S., and we are really excited about the 2010 season.
As an organization, we are committed to working hard. We are
currently establishing a team of women with enormous potential.
These ladies are hard-working professionals during the day and
play the game because they love it. Our 2010 team will consist
of approximately 50 women over the age of 18. We play 4 home
games (Pennington Field) and 4 away games. As a team we are
responsible for funding our home field, officials, medical
personnel, and equipment. Away games also require chartering a
team bus and overnight lodging. Football practice equipment,
uniforms, and practice fields are also vital to the success of the
Lone Star Mustangs. Your support is needed to help the Lone
Star Mustangs meet the financial obligations of operating a
successful team. It is our goal to make their dreams a reality and
play the game of football.
Sponsorship with the Lone Star Mustangs is a partnership in
which we provide unique advertising opportunities at low costs.
Our media exposure will include local television, radio, Internet
media, and newspaper coverage.
There are many ways that you, your family, or organization can
get involved and support the Lone Star Mustangs. We have
sponsorship packages available and may either send them to you
electronically or meet you at your convenience to discuss
options.
Our goal is to allow everyone the opportunity to sponsor the
team at the financial level they see fit. There are many options to
help. Please select the best opportunity for you or your business.
Your contribution will be used toward practice equipment,
travel, and lodging expenses. Supporters can also purchase
season tickets and apparel.
Additionally, the Lone Star Mustangs will participate in various
public appearances throughout the year. Our event materials and
our website www.lonestarmustangs.com is updated daily to
include sponsorship information. As our team develops, we plan
to add fan photos, game coverage, and additional features. Your
support has an opportunity to be recognized in game day
programs, ongoing public communications, game day
announcements, print articles, Internet exposure, and many other
creative media. We would like to thank you in advance for all
