The Lonestar Mustangs are a women's professional football team based out of the
Bedford area that has successfully started and completed 3 full seasons since 2008.
The Mustangs won the National Championship in 2010,  going undefeated with an
12-0 record. The players include some of the most intelligent, competitive and
fun-loving women from the state of Texas. They have put an end to the question of
whether or not women are capable of playing full contact, tackle football. The
Mustangs provide for a target audience that is rich in football tradition and women's
athletics. The attendance at home and away games has grown over the years and we
expect the fanfare to continue to increase this season. With an average of over 300
fans each game, our volunteers and organizers do an excellent job creating a game
atmosphere that provides entertainment for all in attendance.

The 2012 season is already off to a great start. Although the Lonestar Mustangs are
not as widely publicized as the professional men's teams in the area the potential for
success is still there without question. We would like to take this opportunity to offer
